The laser marking of industrial products has gained in recent years increasingly important. The reasons are, inter alia, the high flexibility of the laser procedure, simplified operation through development of the software, as well as cost-efficient labeling.

This is, for example, component- or device-specific labeling, product liability (marking to ensure complete traceability), logos (protection against imitation), chromophore- and design-giving labeling, and marking lines for subsequent manufacturing steps.
