Data Matrix Code

Data Matrix Code

The Data Matrix Code is a two-dimensional barcode that can store information in a small, square or rectangular format. It is often used in industry, logistics, and healthcare to efficiently label and track products and information.

The advantages of Data Matrix Codes (DMCs) lie in their high information density in a very small space, their ability to reconstruct data even when damaged (error tolerance), their flexibility when scanning (regardless of orientation), and the possibility of tracing individual parts in complex supply chains, which, among other things, increases protection against counterfeiting.
